More akin to The Sketch, the German periodical Das Magazin ran Studdy illustrations on a regular basis under the headings "Bonzos Abenteuer" (Bonzo's Adventure), Bonzo Bilderbogen as well as other early Studdy cartoons. Bonzo's Abenteuer were illustrations reproduced around 3-6 years after their appearance in The Sketch but the quality of the reproduction was poor in comparison to the Sketch. As well as the Sketch illustrations there were also some additional drawings from Studdy, many pre-Bonzo, line illustrations and even photographs of the 'real' Bonzo accompanying some very attractive ladies! Das Magazin is in great demand for it's photographic and artwork content and copies are hard to find, nonetheless here's some examples of the Bonzo illustrations . . . .

In addition to the illustrations Bonzo also appeared in a series of advertisements for the German versions of the Bonzo booklets originally issued in England, these booklets were published by Artur Wolf of Vienna.
